1. Local Storage (Offline-First)
Snippets was built with an absolute focus on your privacy. We do not use cloud databases to store your content. All the texts, code, tags, and settings you create are saved exclusively in your browser (using a technology called LocalStorage). This means your data never leaves your device.
2. Data Collection and Use
We do not collect, track, analyze, or have access to the content you save in Snippets. The only information your browser stores is your language preference, to ensure the site loads correctly on your next visit.
3. Third-Party Sharing
Since we do not collect your personal data or the content of your snippets, it is impossible for us to sell or share them with third parties. The tool runs autonomously and independently on your machine.
4. Total User Control
You have absolute control over your information. At any time, you can export your entire database in a secure JSON format, or use the "Reset" option within the application to permanently erase all data from your browser, leaving no trace.
5. Google Analytics & Statistics
We use Google Analytics on our website solely to understand general visitor behavior (such as which pages are most visited and the type of device used). This information is aggregated, anonymous, and used exclusively to improve user experience and site performance. It is important to emphasize that these browsing statistics have no connection to the content you save locally in your personal "vault".
